Prop blocks - Replacement

Hi guys.

Someone brought to my attention that a prop block I had cut for them was a little off - at some stations it was between +1 and +3 off. On some of the older blocks I have, the tip stations seem to be +3 degrees.

I spent a good portion of last night checking the math in the spreadsheet I posted previously, then looking at my fixture trying to track down the source of the error.

The issue was minor - the arm used to bend a bit until I added a layer of carbon to both sides. I suspect that the blocks were cut prior to that modification. I have also recently started using pocket screws to hold down the angle form. Previously it would move slightly, now it is really stiff. I believe the combination of the two led to the error.

That said - I am willing to re-cut and send out new blocks to anyone who has purchased them from me (or won them at Kibbie). All I ask is that you return the original ones to me for exchange (Padded envelope by USPS is the cheapest method.)

I have a couple of folks who are on the waiting list - I should get those out within the next couple of days. I need to cut and check one first just to be sure I have the problem sorted out.

Regards.
