Thanks you all for your concerns and thank you Kang sharing your
experience. I have not allowed comments on a Wordpress site before. Near as
I can tell the only way to require sign-ins to make everyone have a
Wordpress account. I would rather not do that if possible. Squarespace will
allow for greater user account control provided we get the downloads issues
resolved. I feel that the ability to download passed issues is the most
important feature for users right now.
I am inclined to try the sites spam filter settings for now and see how it
goes. The worse case scenario is that we all see something pop up that
resembles what we see in our junk email boxes everyday. Then we delete it.
