Ed,

I am actually going to start with an approximate answer. Try two strands
(one loop) of 1/16-in rubber twice the length of the prop hook to rear
hook distanceand wind 30winder turns and try it.

If you have, or have accessto, a rubber stripper, then try 0.035 to
0.045-in widesince the above may be too wide, particularly if your EZB
is down to weight.

When you describe your planes and props to the others on this forum then
you can expect considerably better advice than this. Good luck.
