The air was pretty turbulent up high but the drift was not nearly as bad 
as the last time I flew there in 2005. My main take away from the event 
is to not plan on flying so many events at a one day contest. I managed 
an LPP flight in the last 10 minutes of the contest but it was done with 
no trim or practice flights.
If this becomes a regular event in the future I'd really like to see it 
held for 2 days. One possible scenario for that would be a night time 
record trials the day before the regular contest similar to what was 
done at Kent this year.
In any case the contest was well run and a lot of flying was done. I 
hope it repeats next year.
