Re: VP - It seems to me that the critical points are the angles and the distances on the actuator arms. I'm thinking it would be pretty easy to create and sell jigs that would allow a beginner to build a VP hub accurately the first (and every subsequent) time. Just a matter of building them and making the hubs... Would be nearly as easy as buying a hub, but wouldn't thwart the BOM rule. Just need to find someone with a mill nearby to make them jigs...
