I've visited this site and a few AZ guys have flown there years ago. It is
outstanding, 170' or so. Solid wood trusses and huge floor area! A truly
world class site except that the 7000ft elevation makes record attempts
impossible.

I did a quick internet check for indoor football fields and came up with
these. Other universities that play indoors share with the Pro teams.
Holt Arena (Idaho State Bengals), DakotaDome (South Dakota Coyotes),Alerus
Center (North Dakota Fighting Sioux), Alamodome (Texas-San Antonio
Roadrunners),
J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome, (Northern Arizona Lumberjacks), UNI-Dome
(Northern Iowa Panthers),
Kibbie Dome (Idaho Vandals), Fargodome (North Dakota State Bison),
Carrier Dome (Syracuse Orange)

I know it's been discussed before, but I wonder if we could find a corporate
sponsor to aid in the search? The Tacoma Dome is in Boeing's backyard and
looks like it could be a great site, but the rental rates are too high
without some help.

I like the stated goals for the Indoor FF Nats vs. USIC. The current outdoor
Nats have changed, but I think the goal for USIC (and thus the Indoor FF
Nats) should be applied to our current search.

1987, the first year that USIC was held in Johnson City. USIC started in
1982 at West Baden and had stints in Detroit and Niagara Falls. It took 5
years before USIC found its home in Johnson City. > > That makes 26 years in
