Ren,

This feature predates O-rings. You used to have to unwind the last 1/4" or so of the motor to get it off the hook. You don't need to do this any more.

Could someone explain the Cezar Banks torque meter release to me.

You’ve got one end of the motor at the winder, the other end on the torque meter…..you’ve put in the winds desired. Now what and how??
