Being an aeromodeller I am sure you know that if you put something in a 'safe' place so as not to loose it that you will never find the item again except by pure chance when looking for something else. I have been looking for the piece of metal in the attached picture for several weeks but yesterday I moved a piece of paper and there it was. I took some measurements with my Vernier calipers before it escaped again.

The hole is 0.472" diameter

The outside diameter is 0.472"

The thickness is 0.036".

You may like to compare these dimensions with the figures that Mark f1diddler gave in his email dated 2012 September 5 for his Leeson cutter blades: 0.475, 0.804, 0.028.

So, is my bit of metal a Leeson cutter? No, it is not. I bought my rubber stripper from Edward Ciapala in Poland and when Edward makes you a stripper he offers two spare blades for an extra 5 euros.
