treger got a thermal around 23 min into his 37, but not from steering into
it.
lutz was a 39 with not a single steer.
the thermals game is not as everyone has thought. the most activity is at
the floor, and while you might see a plane go up ten feet in one, you can
also see the same plane loose ten feet just as easily in the down air. it
seems that they really do not give much of an advantage.
