some things i have noticed about lutz and treger planes:

both fly flat with not much "hanging on the prop"
both fly rather large circles
both have small amount of incidence in the stab, and even less in the wing
both fly at a low launch torque

Ivan has a very slow RPM and his plane climbs still at a low RPM when other
planes would be descending.
Also worth mentioning is that the elliptical wing has only 85% of the max
wing area allowed

the rest is still magic....
