I'd put it this way: There are very few sites in the US that have a 160' ceiling. Now I do not know if this place would be ideal for a contest or not - hence my desire to go fly there and evaluate it as a contest site. The largest part is the air - Is it stable enough for the light stuff? Also are the obstructions a deal-breaker?
Once we figure that out, then we can see how negotiable the price is.
Back in March when the Indoor committee was talking up at the EAA, everyone was lamenting the lack of places to fly. I took that to heart as I think we should all be working towards trying to open up new (and old) venues.
