       Back in the day another method used to prevent warping of condenser paper covered surfaces and add some color was to preshrink the paper. This was done by laying it on a mirror or piece of glass and using a spray bottle to thoroughly wet the paper. I would often add red or green food coloring to the water. The color wasn't dramatic but definitely noticeable. I later gave up on this method and started ironing the c paper between paper towels that had a lot of "texture".
