I prefer having the ability to use the reverse count feature.

I need to poll the troops, and this is where almost all of you are.
How many of you use the reverse count feature to handle windbacks?
I've been offered an alternative counter which looks like it's about $14-15 cheaper than the Trumeter, but only counts up. If I use it, or make it availabe to whomever wants one, I can also eliminate the toggle switch, which is $3. So it would make the winder (or the kit) around $18 cheaper. Also, it has a replaceable battery, which the Trumeter hasn't.
So, with the alternative counter you would handle countbacks by zeroing the counter and taking the fresh count back down, or adding the CCW count to the CW ones.
Is it worth the money to anybody?
