Yes, Royce is definitely interested in flying F1D. His whole family is supportive of his flying. He is mentored by Lou Young, as was Tim Chang. Tim was also helping Royce with flying F1D and Intermediate Stick. As far as I know, Royce is planning to fly for a team spot next year.
Royce, his mom, and Lou Young were at Tustin last winter. This time, his mom, dad, and little sister also came.
