You can treat this as unproven anecdotal evidencebut Fred gave me some
of that lube a few years ago and I had what seemed at the time as an
extreme amount of motor breakage. I quit using it. I recently also quit
using silicone shock oil for the same reason. (also unsupported by any
hard evidence)

Another issue that's come up recently is the change in newer batches of
Armorall and Sonofagun. The new stuff is a lot thicker. I haven't used
any of it since I have some old bottles of Armorall on hand but I'm very
suspicious of what it might contain. (Leo will know!)
