That’s exactly what I was thinking to do!! GO TAPIO!!

 

I just finished planing in the taper and have used aircraft epoxy to assemble the form.

Tomorrow I’ll heat kick the epoxy and sand down the form.

I think this might work!!

How about sanding the hexagonal mandrel to round?
