Fellows, if you want to ensure that the indoor phase of free flight becomes a very small part of the free flight community, keep calling your selves "indoorests". Take a hard look at Rick Pangell's posting as it has the frame work of how to bring modelers into the world of indoor flying.

Those of you who were modelers in 1960 might recall the four part series of articles by Joe Bilgri on building and flying indoor that ran in Model Airplane News. After this series there was a major increase in indoor activity around the country.

Sitting at your key board and launching flames at Model Aviation and NFFS will do nothing but ensure that indoor does not grow.

That 1975 article, why not dust it off and submit it to MA?

Many free flight modelers,or should I say "free flightest", fly both outdoor and indoor models. Think of ways to bring the fun of indoor free flight to those folks who fly Mulvihill, Moffett, P-30, and SAM rubber. They know a lot about rubber and model trimming.
