Probably one of the main contest days, but the continual sanctions give
flexibility to the record-setting hopeful due to the variable weather
conditions at Lakehurst. The "4th of july contest" is on the 7-8th, and the
Labor Day contest is the three day weekend over Labor Day. If you're coming
from far away, the Labor Day contest will give you the most bang for your
buck since you get three days of Lakehurst fun.
I went today and the air was great!
