Hi Jeff,

I fly commercial flights a great deal with my planes. I use two of the
footlockers I buy at my local Walmart for checked baggage. The size is
just under the maximum:

These footlockers have only been searched once in the past two plus
years with no delay that time (Indy to San Diego). I put loads of
AMA/NATS/NFFS sticker on them to show that they contain model planes.
I put all my planes boxes, tools, and supplies in them (and often my
clothes as packing materials. I will probably put the F1D box inside
when I fly to Spokane in July.

get a cheap flight from Milwaukee to Spokane. Could you give me a few
tips on bringing model boxes on the flight and transporting things like
winders, c-clamps, glue, rubber strippers ect. by plane. Once I packed
some eye pieces for a trip to new mexico to do some astronomy and they
kept my suit case for a few days to search. Does this happen if you pack
metal things needed to fly out model airplanes. Also I would only bring
smaller planes like easy-b and mini-stick.

better -- can you invite one other person to come?

available in the U.S. (Lakehurst, Johnson City, Kibbie).

from your shop or model box, whether supplies or tools. How about one of
your catapult gliders? I will donate one of my EZB models. Please
contact me offlist for donations. You can ship the items to me, or just
bring them to Kibbie.
