You are conveniently leaving out a crucial aspect--Indoorists derive as much FUN (along with "satisfaction") from these "longest flights," as do FACers do from renacting 1930s whimsy. When I want to enjoy WHIMSY, I can go fun flying with my Old Timers--contests, stopwatches, traditional indoor infrastructure not even required.
