Re: Bostonians and No-Cals
I didn't realize that the reason I fly Indoor no - cal was to "impress" the FACers with my 2-3 gram models..I never heard of a prop called "absurd" before either. In over 30 years of full size aviation or over 50 years of modeling. I've heard of ,too small, too big .too much pitch ,not enough pitch, out of balance ,out of track... but never absurd!!Is that a FAC term known only to a select few???
I suspect that fisher men who use dynamite lack the skill or desire to catch fish with talent.personally fail to see the correlation of that example.
My question remains , If Facers don't like one design contests ,why Phantom Flash???
I can't comment on who had the better question. I didn't realize we were having a question contest .Do I get a Kanone ???

Here's a better question: why aren't most FACers *impressed* by 2-gram indoor No-Cals with absurd 12" props? I suspect its the same reason most fisherman don't go fishing with dynamite.

I have been lurking throughout this whole thread And have a few question.
Why does FAC have Phantom Flash event? It's a one design by choice not chance.
Why do people who don't fly Indoor No Cal bit*h the most about it ?

That's really too bad. Nobody likes a one design contest in FAC.

limit the fuselage length?
Bob,
If you just limit the length then just another model will become the new "Hosler". There are a few one of a kind homebuilts that can fill its shoes if needed.
