I've found a place in Atlanta that will rent us a tank. Is "2900 Peachtree Road Northwest #100e" close enough to work?
If so, I will call them back and have the tank ready and waiting. Which day would you pick it up?
Details:
- They don't know the volume in cf, but they say it will inflate 500 12" balloons, which should put it at about 300cf. That will do about 15 3' fills.
- Cost is $100, with a $200 deposit for 3 days. $5 per day after that. So, total cost about $130 (some allowance for tax).
- $130 across 8 people is $16.25 each. That should be a reasonable target for the "helium club".
As an aside, I will have a mylar retrieval balloon that people are welcome to use. Please don't anybody grab my steering balloon and start banging it on the ceiling!
