My son's A-6 came in under weight at about 1.1 grams. All the wood I had
him use was SIG contest grade wood in the 4.5-5 pound density range. The
prop spar was 6 pound and the blades were SIG 1/32" *which measured
closer to .040" thick. The advantage we did had though was I have some
of the light c-paper. The model design were are flying have 39% stabs
so the total tissue is less than other model with big tails but looking
at the notes when I built my A-6 the total Cpaper was 200mg of the
model weight the heavier cpaper is about 1.7 times heavier so about
340mg in weight which would mean you will be about 1.24gr without
special indoor wood. So it is doable but not as easy.
