Re: RE: Lakehurst tomarrow.
Lakehurst was good. It was good to be back there though the air wasn't epic
or anything. The temperature in the building was only about 69 F. Horace
held the yearly meeting and updated the club on funds, and base passes.
I flew my F1L and A6 a bit. I tried a full motor on the F1L but the drift
was pretty bad and I didn't have a balloon because there wasn't any helium.
There were about 37 people at the club meeting. The rubber guys included
Vig Gagliano, Tony Dallessandro, Carl VanBuren, Buzz, Al Mac, and myself.
Tony succeeded in flying what must have been nearly everything in his box
including his autogyro, OPP, helicopter, A6, and Manhattan cabin--though he
didn't pull out his "3/4 Kagan" mini Safat.
