Just a note,

To anyone that has flown at Lakehurst, and/or calls it their home flying site (as I do), today marks the 75th anniversary of the Hindenburg disaster.
Understandably so, it seems to be synonymies with the identity of the base. It truly marked a turning point in at least one part of aviation.

On a lighter note, I'd like to thank Gary Underwood for initially getting us back into the base after being forced out for quite awhile. It was a daunting task for him, and we have all benefitted from his efforts. Additionally, Rob Romash, and Horace Hagen for their current service to our club.

Hanger 1 is an incredible place to fly, and if you've never been there, you owe it to yourself as an indoor flier to be inside of one of the worlds great flying sites.

Long Live ECIM
