If you *are* worried about going over 40 minutes, the AX605 does 1/100's past an hour (I just had the support guy at Accusplit run it for 2 hours). It is the same price, but only comes in black. No-fail switches. It doesn't have splits, which is fine for us.

The AX725 costs a few dollars more, but it has different colors - along with splits and other features we don't need.

For the World Record bound, the AX725BKC comes with a Nist traceable certificate for $39 (on the Accusplit website - probably cheaper elsewhere)
