"Infinite" outdoor flying sites?

“Outdoor sites are essentially infinite for practice and competing.”

Ben, that’s a somewhat flip statement that’s simply not true. Do you fly outdoors at all? Suitable flying sites are NOT easy to find and use. Many clubs across the country have lost theirs and have struggled to locate new ones. Our annual Great Grape Gathering at Geneseo, NY, is there because our Canadian friends lost their field years ago and asked to have it held at the Geneseo airport (site of the upcoming Flying Aces Nationals in July). Having use of proper flying sites is something both the indoor and outdoor communities have in common.
