Materialization has happened.
I met today with the Sun n Fun Board of Directors for a thumbs up or down and a thumbs up it was.
We now have a Central Florida Indoor Free-flight Club which will cater to the Indoor Free-flight enthusiast.
Membership to the club is free, there will be no dues or fees for membership but, we will be self-supporting and there will be a donation can at every fly-in. Not only would it be nice to show our appreciation to the folks at Sun n Fun for their generosity, but it would also be nice to have drinks and snacks available for attendees.
There will be a sign-up sheet for everyone to sign in and AMA membership will be needed to fly.
How many times a month realistically are you guys willing to come to Lakeland to fly?
Sat or Sunday?? Both days?? It really is up to you.
There is camping on the premises for those who want to camp the night, as there are also RV set-ups for those who want to stay in their RV's, I think they said RVing was for $28/night. There are also motels and hotels nearby.
