University of Illinois Armory in October 2012 anyone?

So I will start this off by saying nothing is written in stone at this point, but I may be able to get us back into the Armory at UIUC this fall.

(The location is about 2 to 2.5 hours south of Chicago on I-57 in Champaign,IL on the campus of the University of Illinois. MDW is the closer Chicago airport, ORD might be easier to get to.)

We would likely be limited to one of two weekends when the Illini are not at HOME, which are 10/6 and 10/13. We would be limited to one day.

What would it take for us to lure all of the regional flyers to this site? Open fun fly? Family events with kids/grandkids? Scale models? Full blown contest? Laid back contest? I'm guessing Saturday over Sunday so regional flyers could drive home on Sunday, but all that is up in the air.

My only desire is to get in, fly the space, and hopefully repeat this yearly.
