Hello Jos,
It is not necessary to sand the balsa frame, but let him be wet!
Good luck for you!

Subject: [Indoor_Construction] Microfilm frames & Boron

Hello F1D flyers.
I have 2 questions:
1. When you bend boron fibers for a rudder or prop outline is there a change that the fiber will brake. I'm afraid of trying it.
2. I've just finished a few frames for picking up microfilm (Violet dream solution).. Should I sand the long side slightly or not? The places where the frame wil come in contact with the film..
Kindest regards,
Jos
