Yes, for that it would be good as well would Lonestar balsa.  Specialty also sells 1/64" which is cool--  as it's close to .015"

A sheet of 1/32 x 3 x 36 has a $2.08 base price.  With the upcharges it's $6.24 for 4lb. C grain wood.  I use their wood for heavier models like pennyplane and I think it's a great deal.
