I have bought wood from

- A2Z
- Jeff Hood
- Nick Aikman

I really liked the True Weight indoor balsa from A2Z, as it was graded for stiffness. However, it doesn't look like new stock is being cut, and there are no "unreal stiff" sheets left.

I have also bought former IMS wood from A2Z. These are not graded and are about half the price as the True Weight wood. The results are good, and I have generally been pleased with the quality.

I also buy tapered sheets from A2Z. I use these for wing spars, prop spars, and tail booms for EZB, F1L, and LPP. Highly recommended.

I also buy EZB motor stick sheets from A2Z. Also highly recommended.

I have bought a lot of C grain EZB and F1L prop wood from Jeff Hood. He was the only source for light EZB C grain wood for some time. Most of my EZB and F1L props are built from his wood. The results have been great.

Finally, I started to get wood from Nick Aikman. He supplied me with 4 sheets of PERFECT C grain wood, .005" thick, about 3.5#. I built a 62mg 13.4" full flaring prop with this wood. For the size and weight, the prop blades are exceptionally stiff. This is the prop that I used to place first at USIC in 2011.
