Hi Don,

 

Cloudbusters is a bit late with this information due to a bit of a technical
problem. The golf dome we had the contest in the last two years blew down
(second time in 4 years this has happened) during a storm late last year.
With that in mind we had to find a new site which we now have in place.

 

We and our sister club, Detroit Balsa Bugs, have developed a relationship
with the Michigan Indoor Aircraft Association and now have the use of a
soccer arena with a real roof, not another dome. The site is great, a Class
3 ceiling with minimal obstructions. The center is 70 plus feet and the
walls at the edge are about 47-48. The floor is a full size soccer field
giving lots of space. The Ultimate Soccer Arena also has two restaurants and
a bar on site for the convenience of the competitors. Our plan is to
separate the floor into two halves so all events (with the exception of cat
gliders) can be flown all day long. There will be 11 FAC Events, 11 AMA
Events and 3 Special Events for beginners at this AMA sanctioned AAA
Contest.

 

Now on to the reason for the email. Knowing the information is so late we
would still like to get it in the NFFS Digest and on the website in some
format. There are two copies of the flier attached, one in color and one in
Black and White. Maybe some information off page one could be used with a
note of who to contact for further information as below.
