Hi John,
        There is some indoor FF activity in the Chicago area.  The Bong Eagles have a fly session every first Wednesday of the month from 3pm to 11pm, in Racine, Wi.  That is about 1.5 hour ride from Chicago.  It is a very nice cat 2 site, smooth ceiling 41 ft high.  The is also some afternoon flying session at an old high school (Arlington Heights) where they fly RC indoor and FF indoor. Its probably a Cat 1 site. LeRoy, who is in this group goes there regularly, hopefully he can pass along some information about this site.
