Hi Art,
Our local rules allow any prop. When we first started flying PF's we had a prop carving "class" just so we wouldn't be stuck with plastic props. Since then, John Morrill has redesigned the original flat folded balsa prop and it works pretty good.

What kind of times do you get? For some reason the best we can do is around 2 1/2 mins. and it doesn't matter if it's our little 28' gym or the 160+ ft blimp hangar!

Happy Holidays!

- Norm

Norm, do you fly under different rules than we do? Our 'Flashes used to be such great performers before the "one piece plastic prop" rule. Now we're stuck with these heavy 6" Pecks, with the wings slid all the way up to the nose, and it changed the whole character of the plane.

Art.
