FWIW:
I found an eyedoc who was willing to LISTEN. Told him about modeling needs
+ fly tying + tiny dials on aged southbend lathe. He made me (in safety
glass, w/ side-shields) LINED bifocals; main lenses are the equivalent of
strong reading lenses, bifocal portion REALLY strong (focal length ~ 3-4").
Lined format made 'em affordable and makes the high-power portion easy to
find.
Final comment: There are two sorts of folks who fool around with dremels,
scroll saws, etc.: Those who have real safety glasses, and those who wish
like hell they had gotten them.
Wouldn't be without 'em.

Subject: [Indoor_Construction] Clip-on Magnifiers
Hi Guys,
first post here, been lurking awhile :)
What are peoples recommendations for clip on magnifiers? I wear bi-focals
and the mk1 eyeballs are not as good as they used to be.
cheers
