The chain is Delrin, from Servo City. Find the plain bore sprockets on their website. I've tested the chain to over 5kg. The beauty of the chain over timing belts is that it doesn't require tension to work. The looser it is, but not so loose as to jump teeth, the less friction there is.
For most applications, friction fit on the shafts is fine, but I drive 3 of the sprockets out of the 4 by square tube force fit in the plastic bores. Somewhere on SFA, George Kandylakis posted a YouTube of a chain driven prop and an electric motor without a soft start. I wouldn't have thought it could handle that kind of impact load, but it does.
