Thanks for your good wishes - Bob, I'm going to check my old magazines from the mid 80s - I wonder if there is some coverage of your exploits at the Nats here?

Bill - good to here from you. I understand you guys fly indoors near Christchurch - F1L/F1D? Mentioned in dispatches y'know. Any thoughts there about going to Belgrade? I looked up the early results and see New Zealand was represented in 1962! - Will certainly let you know how we're going here. I believe the organisers have about 7 entries for the team trial so far.

Hi John - Australia has been represented by single entries in the past, two flyers in 1980 and a full team of 3 only the once in '84. The process is that the organisers of the team trial will report back after the event to the Model Aero Assoc Aust who then offer team places. It was a surprise to those involved 2 years back when it was suggested Australia should have a go again. But with a recent renewal of interest here the MAAA and Victorian FF Society, who are hosting the event, have been very supportive.

We hoping for a good turn-out for the team trial and should be a great event. We'll see what happens from there.

Good times
Tim
