Film weights
To calculate the weight of covering on the basis of a nominal thickness and
density is not helpful. It is so simple to roll up a sheet of film
Into a ball and weigh on a 1/1000 gm balance. This week I was given a film
sample which I believe came from Japan It worked out at 77mg
per 100 sq in. This makes it much heavier than OS film
