For F1M I actually prefer a slightly thicker film than OS. For easier
handling and better durability.

Talking of which, I have seen film thickness quoted as grams per 100
sq-in, or oz per 100sqin, or mg per sq-meter. These I can convert to
each other, but how does microns compare? One micron is one micrometer
(thousendth of millimeter)? What is the density of mylar film, then?
