Put a well sanded round over with a fairly large radius at the vertical hole and
on the top end of the stick. Saves rubber!

Gary,

In order to use Stan's hook system here's what I learned from Fred Terzian.  Use a 1/2 in dia or larger dowel for a stick where you can drill a 1/4 in hole vertical from the top and 1/4 in hole from the side.The rubber loop now comes out from the top of the stick.
