Roy, I have one of them and they weigh a "ton" and are very whippy when
fully extended. I kicked myself for "cheaping out" and buying it when
for just a small amount more I could have had a carbon fiber pole - which
I went ahead and bought later anyhow.

Anyone looking for a 35' heavy fiberglas kite pole <Grin>

Tapio san,
Judging from the pictures of their website, I think they are not made in
Japan but in China or southeast asian countries. Because I, a Japanese,
cannot read some of the characters on the package of the rods. They MAY
be
manufactured with Japanese carbon, but I cannot make sure of it.
Here in Japan, Japanese made carbon fishing rod is expensive, too, though
it
is very good, light and stiff.
Good flying, Aki
