Heh, yes I know that if I want a cheap and good one I need to buy both...
Just confused what I'd really need. One that is short collapsed is handy
to take to the airplane, and in higher halls like Belgrade it is often
needed for the landing only. Any higher, a balloon works ok. Here in
Finland I typically fly in 9m or lower, so would not have much use for a
longer pole.
So far the longest collapsible I have found is 6m carbon. In a local
shop, their webpage does not mention the collapsed length, but as it
claims to be "travel pole" I suppose it is 60cm or so. Will find out.
