      Hi James

If you look in the 'Files' section of this site you'll find some helpful testing info in the files: tanII tests; rubber.gif (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Indoor_Construction/files/)

This topic comes up from time to time... eg:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Indoor_Construction/message/7146

The general opinion seems to be that the consistency and quality of recent SS batches is good. What I've observed is that the famous TanII batches still seem to crop up as the powersource for record flights, world champs etc... I'm guessing that as these batches age - eventually deterioration factors will also work to bridge any reamining performance gap. So it may be worth getting stuck into the new stuff and learning how to get the best out of it.

cheers

Tim
