Hi Ken, I am a relative new comer to duration events, but I weighed every piece and rebuilt anything that was not to my specs. That is not to say that I have a great A-6. It is okay for my first and only one. It placed 3rd in the postal. The motor stick is too soft due to the fact that I do not have a good inventory of wood. I have to compensate as I fly it since the motor stick bends too much so I have to watch my launch torque very closely to keep the model from flying down into the floor at launch. My best time last season was 7:14 in our category II site. I'm not sure what kind of condenser tissue I used. It was the lightest I had on hand. I wish I had better notes of various components- I just kept rebuilding things until I got to 1.2 gr. I'm counting on you guys with more experience to help me through the rough spots. James

Hey James. Welcome. I'll be glad to get as many of your secrets as I can on building a 1.2 gram A-6.

Thanks. I'll be researching and selecting/ordering materials and then building by September. Our club indoor site is available every December through April.
