If the implication is that Dan quit because microfilm was no longer allowed, it should be noted that microfilm is allowed in the indoor stick class (HLS) and in the FAI classes, F1D and F1R, all official AMA classes (I think). So, there is room for fliers who want to fly with coverings ranging from paper to microfilm.

If Dan left indoor flying for other reasons, it is too bad.
