As I recall, B and C stick were eliminated about 1966. This was due to an effort, led primarily by Bud Tenny, to cut down the number of categories to "save AMA the record keeping". Looking at the present situation, that is a bit ludicrous. I and most of the fliers at that time flew mainly against the records so eliminating categories for records was the main reason I left indoor after 1965.
