Tom Iacobellis did 35:01 and 36:30 practice flights, putting him in good shape for the team selection contest.
Brett Sanborn had some ups and downs. I accidentally caught his model on my balloon string during launch on Saturday. Then, he left a model out during the torrential downpour on Sunday and it got destroyed. But he did a 35:52 and a 35:57, so he's on track for the team selection contest, too.
Max Zaluska qualified for team selection contest with a 32:14 and a 32:48, giving him 89 qualification points. He flew a flaring prop - no VP.
Jeff Daulton had an F1D to fly. It look pretty nice. He finished building it on Saturday, and then worked out the maiden voyage details. He only got a few flights on it.
Kang had a fleet of EZB's. Two were in the .3gm range, but to me they looked like noodles - and not the pre-boiled kind that are nice and stiff. He also had the model that won USIC. That one looks great. He did a bunch of parial motors in the 16 minute range, and I believe some full motors over 30 mins. He's closing in on the record :)
