You betchya... I did 7:30 no-touch under a 31' ceiling--once. I think the model only got about 25' up, and I was using thin flexible blades on a 1/16" sq prop spar. This all reminds me that I need to make a new LPP prop. Build one shortly after that based on Gowen's carbon spar LPP prop, but it doesn't flare as much as I'd like. That's the biggest issue with flaring LPP props--not enough flare and you're slamming into the ceiling and wasting power, too much flare, and any time the model noses down, a blade tucks and there's no guarantee it will ever untuck because it acts like a huge airbrake to prevent enough airspeed from developing to get the nose back up.
Ironically, I find really flexible props to be no problem on ministicks. Seems like they're more stable or something.
