Ya, for some, issue is not so much "what works"--many ideas "work,"-- but rather how much glam you're going for. I think Stan Chilton once described to me how he makes male molds for the outline, from styrofoam, (?) into which the outline is sunk to include camber. The mold has depth relief exactly matching all ribs and spars. Then film is rolled over the whole thing, so the mold holds the film up into shape.
